Welcome to Hoof and Leaf Co.

Rooted in the land. Teaching skills that nourish. Building community that lasts.

Our Mission

To reconnect people with the land—by teaching the skills to grow food, steward soil, revive rural culture, and build resilient communities.

Our Vision

We envision a world where rural life is vibrant, hands-on skills are valued, and communities are sustained by land-based living, shared knowledge, and regenerative agriculture.

1:1 Consulting & Coaching

For small-scale farmers, gardeners, land stewards, and horse owners looking to work with the land—not against it—I offer one-on-one consulting to help you create regenerative, practical systems that fit your place and pace.

Whether you’re improving soil, planning grazing, or building more resilience into your operation, I’ll walk alongside you with grounded support and ecological insight.

Consults are available locally or online, rooted in real experience and a deep respect for land, animals, and people.

About Me

Hi, I’m Allison Cooley—agroecologist, cheesemaker, and soil health specialist.

I grew up ranching in Eastern Montana, studied Sustainable Food & Bioenergy Systems at MSU, and have spent the past decade raising animals, growing vegetables, milking goats and cows, and helping landowners restore soil. I’ve worked on carbon-smart ranching initiatives, run a raw milk dairy, and trained in regenerative agriculture, coaching, and holistic management.

Hoof and Leaf Co. is my way of sharing what I’ve learned—and creating space for others to reconnect with the land, reclaim traditional skills, and build a grounded, healthy life.
